I hate these packaged cake mixes, and even worse are the disgusting frostings for cake that taste like sugared Crisco.

I would like to make cake and brownies "from scratch". Can you give me a recipe for a nice white cake with chocolate frosting, and another for brownies?

I am living in Europe, so please do not give me brand names; I most likely will not be able to find them here. I imagine a hand-held mixer is necessary for the frosting, right? In that case, I will need to buy one.
I can convert quantities, but if you know them in metric (grams, etc.) so much the better !

I’ve heard some women say that women who buy cake mix in a box or tv dinners are lazy because they don’t want to cook from scratch.

By analogy aren’t members of organized churches spiritually lazy? Rather than develop their own religious beliefs from scratch by independent thought, they simply adopt a "recipe" set of beliefs from one of many organized religions.

I am looking for snicker-doodle recipe that used french vanilla cake mix as the base. If I remember you use the cake mix with i think 2 eggs and like a 1/2 of cup of oil. But Im not sure of it really. But that’s kind of what i remember. Also i need to know the baking Temperature and time. Please Please I really want to make these and I cant find it anywhere. Thank you soo much!
If you have one can I please have it. My boyfriend has never had these cookies before and I really want to make him some.

I’m looking for a good cake mix to make for my boyfriends birthday [I don't have time to make from scratch or I would] I want it to be moist and really tasty. I want to make it marble, so please tell me what brand of chocolate / yellow and or white you like best!! And if you have any good frosting recipes send them my way!

I am making my husband a vanilla cake for his birthday next week. I plan on using Duncan Hines moist brand. However, I’ve used DH and BC before and it doesn’t taste like a bakery cake. So… I’ve heard adding vanilla pudding to the cake mix adds to the moist factor as well as using milk instead of water, butter instead of oil, and add an 8oz container of sour cream.
Has anyone used this or any of these and had success?
I’m open to any suggestions. Except changing the flavors, he will only eat vanilla or white cake

Hi :]
So I bought this cake mix, Pillsbury Moist Supreme French Vanilla cake mix. The recipe calls for
1 cup water
1/3 cup oil
3 eggs <<<< I want to bake a cake with out the eggs, but I don’t want to kill the cake at the same time. So does anyone know a good egg substitute I can use? Please remember to mention quantity, like how much of something(s) equal how many eggs ;] Thank you so much for helping!
aren’t there ANY egg substitutes that can work? And also, can you give me some examples of egg free cake mix? Thank you
