When you have piped all the cookies, place the powdered sugar in a wire strainer, and lightly sift the sugar over the tops of the cookies. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the ladyfingers are firm but barely browned and are still spongy when pressed with a finger.

Remove the baking sheets from the oven and slide the parchment paper from the baking sheets onto a wire rack. Let the ladyfingers cool for a few minutes and release them from the parchment paper, with a flat spatula, while they are still warm. If you left them completely cool before removing them from the parchment they stick and hard to remove without breaking. Finish cooling the ladyfingers on the wire rack before using or storing. If you are not using the ladyfingers right away, freeze them. Ladyfingers stale very quickly unless they are soaked in a liquid. To store, place in a plastic bag between layers of wax or parchment paper and freeze up to 2 weeks.

Best Fruit Cake Ever

1 cup butter

1 tsp. salt

1 cup sugar

lemon juice

4 large eggs

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup dried fruit

nuts

1 tsp. baking powder

1 or 2 quarts whiskey

Before you start, sample the whiskey to check for quality. Good isn’t it? Now go ahead. Select a large mixing bowl, measuring cup, ect. Check the whiskey again, as it must be just right. To make sure that the whiskey is of the highest quality, pour one level cup into a glass and drink it as fast as you can. Repeat. With an electric mixer, beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add 1 tsp of thugar and beat again. Meanwhile, make sure that the whiskey is of the finest quality. Cry another tup. Open 2nd quart if necessary. Add 2 large leggs, 2 cups of fried druit and beat till high. If druit gets stuck in the beaters, just pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the whiskey again, thecking for tonsicisity. Then sift 2 cups of salt, or anything, it really doesn’t matter. Sample the whiskey. Sift ½ pint lemon juice. Fold in chopped butter and strained nuts. Add 1 babblespoon of brown thugar, or whatever color you can find, and wix mell. Grease oven and turn cake pan to 350 degrees. Now pour the whole mess into the coven and ake. Check the whiskey again, and bo to ged.

i love making baking and making desserts…but i dont have an oven…but i do have a microwave one (but i dont really know how to use it for baking etc.)

does anyone has their own simple ways of making anything (whether its cakes / pies / brownies / fudges / cookies) simply anything!!! without using the oven? (microwave…perhaps…but needed clearer instruction to it)

also…can u give me the recipe’s measument in cups or roughly – and easier way for me to measure it because i have no measuring cups whatsoever…

I found this no-bake cheesecake recipe and i want to make it for my parents this valentines day but i have second thoughts if this type of cake will make it. my parents place is about 3-4 hrs. drive. here’s the recipe i got:

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup white sugar
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling

DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar and cinnamon. Add melted butter and mix well. Press into the
bottom of an 8 or 10 inch springform pan. Chill until firm.

In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese and lemon juice until soft. Add whipping cream and beat with an electric mixer
until batter becomes thick. Add the sugar and continue to beat until stiff. Pour into chilled crust, and top with pie filling.
Chill several hours or overnight. Just before serving, remove the sides of the springform pan.

200 grams (7ounces) of roasted hazelnuts(turn the nuts into powder in a mixer, put the powder into a heated frying pan without any fat, stir continuously until you get a light-brown colour. Let cool and keep aside)
1.) 5 eggs
2.)120 grams(4 ounces) of sugar
3.) lemon peel
4.)icing sugar

Clarify the eggs
Blanch the yolks with 120 gr 4(ounces) of sugar (blanch: whip until the mixture becomes white.)
Whisk up the whites and at the end, mix in the remaining sugar (80 gr) and carry on whisking for 30 seconds.
Lay the whites on the top of the yolks and gently mix by lifting with a spatula.
When done, mix in the roasted hazelnut powder.
Poor the mixture into a non-adhesive sponge-cake baking-tin (Tefal or Flexopan.)
Bake for 35-40 min at 180o C.
As usual ,probe the cake with the tip of a knife which should come out hot and dry.
10d mn after taking it out of the oven, remove it from the baking -tin, let it cool on a grille and powder it with icing-sugar.

Loads of little things can complement your hazelnut soft Cake :
A nice warm chocolate-sauce, custard with a little bit s of toasted coffee, that same custard flavoured with liquorice or even sauterne wine or acacia honey…A real love poem!

i want to bake a cake using a pyrex dish, but i’m not sure if it’s alright to use. it’s the 3 qt- 28L one. is it alright? also, is there a faster way to get all the lumps out of the mix without an electronic mixer? i’m using a hand whisk.

today, im baking a cake for my dad for fathers day but, i do not have an electric mixer.
The recipe calls for oil, cake mix, eggs and water.
What are some ways that I can beat all these without an electric mixer??!?!?
