Recipes Using Cake Mixes #14: Easy Fresh Peach Cobbler
You can use peach pie filling for this, but using fresh peaches makes it soooo good! seven small to medium ripe peaches, peeled, pitted and diced (I’m thinking that 8-10 would have been even better) 1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon ginger 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 18-ounce cake mix, yellow or your choice, unprepared 1 cup butter, melted Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 9 x 13 pan. In a medium saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, ginger and cornstarch. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute. Remove from stove. Pour peach mixture into prepared pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top. Drizzle butter over the cake mix. Bake for 1 hour or until top is lightly browned and peaches are bubbling. Serve with whipped or ice cream. Question by kimmykim: What are some good bundt cake recipes?
My kids had an idea to make bundt cakes for teachers this year. We dont want to make all of them the same so we are looking for different ideas. They want the ones with glaze on top. Those make the best looking cakes according to my kids. Something pretty simple so that my children, ages 13, 11, and 8 can get in the kitchen and help me make. Also, what is the best way to gift this without going and buying a load of plastic cake plates.

With the recipe I’m going to give you for my cake…wrapping isn’t a problem…it’s absolutely delicious and makes a nice presentation….
another idea is to cut cakes up in sections to give them a selection of cakes and wrap and put in small gift baskets or tins from dollar store with a big ribbon wrapped around it. If there are teachers aides…remember them by giving them a whisk filled with red and green Hershey kisses all tucked into it..wrap in clear cello wrap and put a ribbon bow and a sign saying “We whisk you a Merry Kiss-mas”.

Question by H.L.A.: Chocolate layer/bundt cake recipes. Who has the best one?
I’m looking for a good chocolate recipe. It can be a 2 layer cake or a bundt cake. All the “real” recipes I’ve seen for them have self-rising flour or distilled white vinegar, both of which I don’t have. I say real because on allrecipes.com people get away with posting recipes that use ready made cake, brownie or pudding mixes. If you’re going to bake, at least go the whole 9 yards…
I’ll be making the frosting myself, I’ve got an excellent recipe for that. Thanks in advance ![]()
Caitlin….”real” recipes. No boxed stuff. I buy and make those when I’m feeling lazy…

Question by kimberlyann_4748: Do you know of any good bundt cake recipes ?
Hey, I have this stadium bundt cake pan and I’ve never used it because I can never find a good enough recipe. I’ve been looking online for bundt cake recipes but nothing really tickles my fancy. I’d like to make it for the superbowl. So I’m looking for a recipe that everyone is going to love, personal experiences are surely welcomed. I’ve never made a bundt cake before. I’ll take anything!
okay thank you. i have the pan, so i guess i can use any recipe
thanks!

Answer by ?single serving friend?
It’s not really a cake, but it’s typically made in a bundt cake pan and would be a perfect snack for the superbowl, since you just kind of pull it apart…monkey bread! Yum!
Or, you could go with a classic rum cake or gingerbread cake, or some kind of lemon cake with a lemon or cream cheese-like glaze/icing. Yummo.
